NCC at Kittur Sainik School
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Kittur Rani Channamma Residential Sainik School for Girls, Kittur, Karnataka, is a prestigious initiative aimed at grooming young cadets into disciplined and responsible citizens. NCC was introduced in the school in 1970, and since then, it has been an integral part of the student experience.

NCC Camps
The school encourages participation in various national and regional camps that enhance leadership, courage, discipline, and team spirit:
Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt (Jan 1–29)
Obstacle courses and combat training
Naval training including semaphore and sailing
Air Wing training and competitions
Promotes adventure and teamwork
Cultural exchange and national unity
Practical leadership training and team-building
Weapons handling, map reading, communication skills
NCC Parades
- Republic Day Parade: Held on January 26 to display cadets' ceremonial drill excellence
- Regular Parades: Organized at the unit, group, and directorate levels throughout the year
Annual Training Camp of NCC 2025
Annual Training Camp of NCC was conducted at Kittur Rani Channamma Residential Sainik School for Girls, Kittur, under the 5 KAR Girls Battalion, Dharwad. A total of 482 cadets participated in this training camp. 126 cadets from KRCRSSG actively took part and showcased excellent discipline and spirit throughout the camp.
